Of course in every wedding, a wedding vow shall be that turning point where the bride or the groom promises for forever their eternal love with each other and the assurance that throughout their journey, they shall remain together in every trials that will come and nothing can pull them down because they have each other’s hand to hold to go through it.

How important indeed a wedding vow is?

It is as important as every part of the wedding and as important as the detail and every fiber that composes the bride’s wedding gown. It is that detail in every wedding that unionizes the couple as one. It is the promise of forever. It is the eternal bliss that a marriage offers. Most couples say the normal words that most people hear in movies and some couples may have all the time and wanted to really have hands on at their own wedding to the point of personalizing their own wedding vows. However a wedding vow is stated by the couples, never did the witnesses and visitors able to say it has become overrated through time because it has always created a lingering feeling at their heads that while vows to some people sound scary but that’s probably because they aren’t as ready yet as the bride and the groom. Everybody will have their own time and by then, the same wedding vow will transcend boundaries of whatever religion by simply promising never to give up during their best and worst time, that they will hold each other’s hand and will never let go and that till death do they part that their love remains solid and unchallenged. Most importantly, the ringing two words "I Do", does the wrapping up of the promising lines of the couples and totally manifest at the right time the acceptance of each other without any reservations, that, no matter what went wrong during the marriage, it is but accepted by both and be resolved by both. Indeed, it is not as simple as saying or exchanging I Love You’s, it is the faith with each other that then matters.

Some wedding vows are ready-made depending on the type of ceremony that the couples choose – Christian, Irish or Hebrew. It all depends on the couples if they rather would want to have their own wedding vow. May it be ready-made or personalized, a wedding vow has been considered by the Minister, Priest or Conducting Officer of the wedding to be the most important part of the wedding otherwise, without it, the couples will never be married in the eyes of everybody present and in the eyes of the Lord. It is the turning point from the vow of singlehood to matrimony. It is when everybody claps their hands after and it is the main reason why everybody that is present in the wedding is attending to celebrate with – it is the main event itself that everybody holds their breaths and become fantastic that someday they will have their own time to brag about forever that comes their way.
